Brix, well worth the trip...

My wife and I decided to road trip last Sunday, and after the car show at Bothom Vinyard we decided on lunch at Brix Cider in Mount Horeb. Great live music and very tasty tacos and a brat (locally sourced but just a bit pricey) were accompanied by a flight of house ciders.

All our choices were good, we both agreed on a clear winner, the Lemon Basil Cider was special. Bright crisp and both the lemon and basil came through both in the nose and on the palate.  They sell 500 ML bottles at the site, but I believe this one could find a place in stores and on tap across the state.

Well worth the trip, and Mount Horeb has lots to offer, the Grumpy Troll is also among our favorites...
