New Glarus Brewing wants a judge to dismiss an investors lawsuit accusing CEO Deb Carey of trying to freeze them out of its profits


New Glarus Brewing Co.  is asking a judge to dismiss an investors lawsuit accusing CEO Deb Carey of trying to freeze them out of the craft brewer`s profits.

That motion to dismiss says the lawsuit, filed in August in Dane County Circuit Court by company investors Karen Eichhoff, Steven Speer and Roderick Runyan, is "devoid of any allegation of actual oppressive conduct that has harmed the plaintiffs."

Instead, the lawsuit includes "events that never happened," complaints about restrictions on the plaintiffs` shares in the company and speculation "about what may happen in the future," according to the newly filed motion...
