A Stout Inspired by the Sea

Door County Brewing Co.’s winter seasonal, Silurian Stout, has returned. You may not recognize it as Silurian, though, because the brewery has completely revamped its label art and updated its recipe, changing it from a lactose-heavy milk stout to a more balanced oatmeal stout, full of flaked oats and some of the brewery’s favorite dark specialty malts.

Silurian Stout was released in cans and on draft last Friday at the Baileys Harbor taproom, 8099 Hwy 57, and a limited number of cans and quantity of draft will begin making their way out into distribution throughout Wisconsin as well.
