Milwaukee mayoral candidates to participate in firkin tapping held by Lakefront, Black Husky breweries

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Lakefront Brewery and Black Husky Brewing have invited all seven of Milwaukee`s mayoral candidates for a special firkin tapping.

The breweries say this Saturday, Jan. 29, each candidate will have their own beer casks outside Black Husky, and they will simultaneously pound the firkin faucets.

“Being a great brewing center, it will be nice to have a Milwaukee mayor who can perform ceremonial tappings at openings of festivals and events. But most importantly, our event shows that these candidates are all willing to come out, meet the people and have some fun.” said Russ Klisch, president of Lakefront Brewery....
