A FEW MILES SOUTH of Downtown and just north of St. Francis, the lake-adjacent neighborhood of Bay View is known for its industrial roots. Craft food and drinks are in no shortage in this hipster haven, particularly along Kinnickinnic Avenue – nicknamed KK – the neighborhood’s main drag.

5. Cache Cider

This orchard-to-glass taproom is hard to find, but Pierluissi says the payoff is worth it. Milwaukee musician and proprietor Ethan Keller serves up classic European-style ciders that lean dry and complex. “You can feel the passion when you walk in,” she says.
